Climate Action & Sustainability: Workshop on Blockchain Use Cases

Blockchain in combination with other technologies can be a powerful tool to support several of the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs). With the help of the ecosystem players, this workshop intends to examine the potential for blockchain/DLT to support UN SDGs. The workshop will use poll questions and discussion in order to, in particular, identify:

a) Use cases that are nice to have, but they don’t provide much improvement,

b) Blockchain significantly improves the use case, especially in terms of cost and effectivity, but the use case is still doable with the absence of blockchain/DLT; and

c) Use cases where you cannot achieve the same result without blockchain/DLT.
