    Andrea Minto is the Jean Monnet Professor in Law and Regulation of Financial Markets at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, where he holds the Chair in Digitalisation in EU Financial Studies (EUDIFIN).
    He is Associate Professor at Ca’ Foscari University under the auspices of the prestigious “Rientro dei Cervelli Programme” and part-time Associate Professor at the School of Law of the University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet – Juridisk Institute), where he also coordinates the Bachelor and Master programs in Law & Economics.
    Besides, he is Senior Policy Adviser and Researcher at the Deutsche Bundesbank Eurosystem (Directorate General Financial Stability), on topics such as FinTech, shadow banking and regulatory arbitrage.
    Andrea’s research interests reside at the intersection of Law, Economics and Finance.
    Andrea won several prizes and fellowships, comprising two BIS Fellowships at the Bank for International Settlements, the SIEMENS Integrity Initiative Fellowship at IACA and the PMFCFS research grant at the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Center for Futuristic Studies

He is ranked among the 100-Top world influencers in the area of RegTech and Blockchain and he is frequent speaker in top-tier universities, international organizations, the World Economic Forum and professional summits on FinTech, RegTech, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Disruption of Banking and Financial Services, in Europe, America and Asia. He has published two books, one on Disintermediation Economics and the impact of Blockhain in Markets and Policies, and one on the Financing and Financial Reporting for the European SMEs in the era of the CMU and the new IFRS, both with Palgrave Macmillan.

    Jon works as a team leader on crypto-assets in the digital finance unit of the department for financial stability, financial services and capital markets Union. Jon has worked across different topics on digital finance and is presently leading the work on crypto-assets, including the negotiation of the proposal for a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Jon is also involved in much of the international work related to digital finance through the FATF, G7, G20, BCBS and the FSB.

    Marc Taverner is an Executive Director of the International Association of Trusted
    Blockchain Applications (INATBA) – one of the largest multi-stakeholder blockchain
    organizations worldwide.

    Marc joined INATBA in 2020 as the first Executive Director and since then has been
    successfully leading the association with over 170+ companies, government officials, policy officers, regulators & legislators.

    With over 20 years of experience working across the globe in fast-paced, lean
    organizations, Marc brings a set of unique skills gained from a career in a mix of
    start-ups and industry leaders, building teams and driving growth. Prior to joining
    INATBA, Marc spent six years working with one of the original and largest crypto
    mining companies, chip manufacturers, and blockchain solutions providers – Bitfury.

    Marc also works as an independent consultant and advisor to international
    technology companies at Bluesphere Solutions.

    He holds BA with honours in European Business in Finance and Business Studies
    from Brunel University London and ESC Clermont Business School respectively.

    Nadia Filali began her career in the financial software sector dedicated to asset management. At Caisse des Dépôts, she held several positions such as Deputy Head of Financial Back Office, Head of Strategic Projects and then Head of Business Development. Since 2016, she has been Director of the Blockchain & Cryptoassets program at Caisse des Dépôts, and pilot of LaBChain, a non-commercial consortium of over 30 partners dedicated to the finance and insurance sectors.

    She oversees multiple partnerships to support R&D in France and Europe and has launched several industrial projects based on Blockchain technologies, such as Liquidshare, a post-trade Blockchain infrastructure for European SMEs, or Archipels, a provider of Blockchain-based digital trust services, of which she is a director.

    She also supports regulatory and legislative openings and works alongside French and European institutions: she has been a member of the European Commission’s Blockchain Forum Observatory expert panel since May 2018, and a member of the French National Task Force as well as the OECD’s Blockchain Expert Policy Advisory Body (BEPAB). Proactive in the creation of INATBA (International Association for Trusted Blockchain Application), she is elected member of the Board since April 2019 and President of INTBA since April 2021. She is also a board member of ACSEL, the digital economy association since January 2021.

    Finally, since December 2017, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Digital Development Agency launched by the Moroccan government.

    Samir leads BitOasis’ engagement with regulators, policy makers and strategic partners and the company’s authorisation initiatives across MENATP. Prior to BitOasis he managed the public policy team for Careem and Careem Pay across 14 markets and has extensive experience of advising investors and fintech founders on market entry, licensing, and engagement in MENATP across verticals including BNPL, open banking, neo-banking, fee free trading etc.

    Senior Executive Director, ADGM / GAB Co-Chair & Leader of GAB Finance Work Stream, INATBA

    As the Head of Authorisation function within the Financial Services
    Regulatory Authority of the Abu Dhabi Global Market, Wai Lum oversees
    the licensing of financial services firms and products in the banking,
    insurance and capital markets sector.

    Wai Lum formulated the first bespoke Venture Capital Framework for investment managers in the UAE. He also
    instituted the Private Financing Platform regime to improve access to alternative financing for startups and
    SMEs.
    With digital transformation at the forefront of global regulators’ agenda, Wai Lum spearheads ADGM’s strategy in financial technology and digitalization. The Regulatory Sandbox programme, and subsequent digitalization of the platform, won ADGM accolade as the most innovative and progressive regulator in the Middle East.
    Being the architect and planner of the largest Fintech Festival in the MENA region over consecutive years, he shaped the financial technology landscape within the United Arab Emirates. Working closely in collaboration with banks, financial institutions, regulators and other key stakeholders, Wai Lum drove the innovation masterplan to support the adoption of smart and sustainable technology.

    Prior to joining ADGM, Wai Lum was the Director of Capital Markets Intermediaries at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
    Wai Lum graduated from Imperial College, London with Master in Electrical Engineering and concurrently holds a Master of Science in Applied Finance from the National University of Singapore. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst holder.
