  Dr Aaron Lane is a Senior Lecturer in Law in the Graduate School of Business and Law at RMIT University and Senior Research Fellow with the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub. Aaron’s academic research is focused on the relationship between regulation and innovation – with a current focus on the law and economics of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Aaron is the co-author of three books and regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals. Aaron commenced his legal career in private practice and maintains a part-time practice as Special Counsel with Duxton Hill, advising on matters involving fraud, misconduct and financial crime. In 2022, Aaron was a Visiting Scholar at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University in the United States.

  Branson is currently the Crypto and Web3 APAC Lead for Worldpay FIS. He is also serving as the Director for Alice Foundation (a Swedish blockchain game company). Prior to this, he helped conceptualise and set up a fully MAS-licensed digital asset exchange, ECXX.com. ECXX is the first licensed exchange in Singapore to connect to the national registry, MyInfo, for quick onboarding. In 2018, Branson co-founded and successfully launched an enterprise blockchain startup that raised USD 10.5m funding. Passionate in blockchain technology, Branson served 2 terms as an Executive Committee member for Singapore Fintech Association and is a founding member of the Blockchain Association of Singapore. He has over 18 years of experience working and leading teams in business information and technology companies like Gartner Consulting, LinkedIn, Sun Microsystems, Bureau van Dijk (part of Moody’s) and others spanning across regions in Asia. Branson holds a MSc. Degree in Wealth and Asset Management from NTU, WMI (Wealth Management Institute ), and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering (NTU). He has also completed Fintech Certificate from MIT and Alternative Investments from New York University.

  Partner and Head of Intellectual Property, Innovation, Technology and Data Privacy at DSMA Azulay, Julia Pazos holds a degree in Law from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC) in 2008, a postgraduate degree from PUC Rio in 2009 and an LLM in intellectual property and innovation by UNICAMP in 2017.
  Julia has over 20-years-extensive experience in intellectual property negotiations, especially in trademarks, patents and technologies, as well as complex projects involving contracts and licensing. Julia also has years of experience in all administrative procedures for coordinating Intellectual Property and Privacy and due diligences in the area.
  Ranked in several national and international rankings Julia was elected by IAM as “one of the country’s leading authorities on blockchain issues”.
  Julia is a guest lecturer and speaker at several national and international courses and events on Web3, NFTs, metaverse, blockchain, intellectual property and technology agreements negotiation.

  Mr. Hu Ke is a partner in the dispute resolution group of Jingtian & Gongcheng, specializing in litigation and arbitration (in commercial and IP-related matters), cyber-security and data protection.
  Mr. Hu is very sophisticated on cybersecurity and data protection, and has represented clients in some high-stake and trail-blazing cases related to data privacy, data breach, artificial intelligence, blockchain and cryptocurrency, and competition law in the internet sector.
  In dispute resolution in general, Mr. Hu has represented domestic and international clients in 100+ court proceedings in China and arbitration proceedings under CIETAC, BAC, HKIAC, SIAC, ICC, LCIA, SCC, CAS and UNCITRAL rules. He is recognized by Who’s Who Legal as a “Future Leader” in arbitration from 2018 and national leader since 2021, by Chambers Asia Pacific as an “up-and-coming” practitioner in arbitration in from 2019, and by China Business Law Journal a “Rising Star” in 2019 and 2020. He is a panel arbitrator at CIETAC, the flagship arbitration institution in China, and a member of the Arbitration and ADR Committee of the ICC.
  Mr. Hu obtained LL.M. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and LL.B. degree from Peking University. He is qualified in both China and the state of New York.

  Paola Heudebert is the Head of Legal and Public Affairs of Archipels and member of the New York Bar. Paola Heudebert studied at the University of California at Berkeley as a
  Fulbright Scholar, where she majored in technology law. She led international conferences on the GDPR compliance issues of blockchain technology, notably at the International Privacy and Security Forum, and undertook several academic reflections on the legal issues raised by DLTs. She co-chairs the Privacy Working Group at the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications.
