Response to the EU Commission Open Public Consultation on the eIDAS Regulatory Framework

With the adoption of the eIDAS Regulation in 2014, the EU broke new ground globally by introducing a first cross-border framework for trusted digital identities and the so-called trust services such as electronic signatures that can be used to sign documents in the online world, much like one signs a document with a pen in the offline world. This is INATBA’s response to the European Commission’s open public consultation on the eIDAS regulatory framework.
